Liquid Lounge

Diane has to be one of the nicest people in the Long Beach music scene and she has consistently great talent playing on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Liquid Lounge.

Come on down and discover a friendly place to hang out, have a beer and listen to some really good indie music. The Band (Cathy) and I always have a great time playing there!

David Biddle is an author and contributing editor to InBusiness magazine who went on a quest into the heartlands of America to find his birth mother and understand his racial heritage.

He created a fascinating blog (web log) to document this journey. Mister B's song "Doo Wop Boys" played a unexpected and touching role on that trip.

Tom Fair & Larry Gorman - singer/songwriters, producers of the Celebrity Centre Showcase, and a couple of great guys. Tom added a lot of outrageously good guitar work on my CD.

Gilli Moon & Toni Koch - the songwriting community flourishes because of these two. If you are serious about songwriting you really want to join this organization.

Glenn Horton started a magazine, The Creative Bullet, that covered all the arts, including music. This has evolved into the Artist Helping Artists organization that has Round Tables where artists come to present and discuss their works. They also have a Call to Arts Expo a couple of times a year. Great magazine and organization.

Larry Wines

I met Larry Wines, host of Tied to the Tracks on KCSN.org, at a SongNet Showcase and I'm honored that he has been playing my CD on his Saturday morning, 6-10 am show.

He's got a great ear for music and features a rich mixture of Americana music. He plays the best of signed and unsigned artists from Maine to Mexico, New Orleans to Nova Scotia, and the Rocky Mountains to the rocky coasts...and it's a great listening experience.

Larry's a songwriter in his own right, a concert and CD reviewer as well as a music columnist for www.folkworks.org, and a very busy guy.

Karis Music.com

I first met Henry Karis at Borders Open Mic in Cerritos and was immediately impressed by what a great musician and singer he was. It turns out he's also a really nice guy and a great songwriter and record producer.

One of the busiest guys around he makes affordable demos, teaches guitar, and plays in a Brazilian band,
Badaue. He also knows some great singers and musicians for recording projects.

LongBeachinWithMo

One of the coolest ladies in Long Beach, Mo Power has a great cable show where she features special guests (like MisterB and Alonzo Xzavier). Shown Mondays at 4:30 on Long Beach's Charter Communication Network Channels 65/69/95. Also broadcast in England and New Zealand.

strangebloom

strangebloom
is a rock duo featuring Gabu on vocals and rhythm guitar and Rod on lead guitar. Sometimes compared to the likes of Lou Reed and Leonard Cohen, the band's sound is low-tech and their lyrics are honest. Listen to the music of strangebloom.

KaRi and Mo
- Hey, this was my first radio interview on ThePrimeSpotRadio Show. What can I say except I'm very grateful and I'm ready to do it again...anytime. Tune in every Fridays from 9-11 pm at KBEACH.org and listen while KaRi spins the CD's of undiscovered indie talent.
