Wade in the River CD

Review by: The Creative Line Magazine
This collection of songs from MisterB evokes vivid images from a lifetime of experience.
The title cut opens with classic sound of a Leslie driven by a Rhoads, with blues harp and MisterB’s voice gettin’ swampy enough to capture the smell of the bayou.

Story songs like “Old Roadie” and “Riding in the rain” speak of things learned along the way, and chances yet to come. Comfortably familiar arrangements with an obvious nod to nostalgia in “Do-Wop Boys”. MisterB reinforces where he’s been and where he’s at, still moving forward while respecting the past.

Nice while driving. The music is good. Could be on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts one day. 3 Stars.

"Great tune! We're playing it on our radio network."

Pete Chaston
"Hey, I love your 'Doo-Wop Boys'. If you would send me the CD I will play it on my radio program which also goes out live worldwide over the internet. The show is the Pete Chaston Doo-Wop Show on KCXL-AM radio in Kansas City. I am playing it today from a downloaded file, but prefer to use the CD for quality. Thanks and congrats on a really good song!"

The Pop Shoppe
"Just received your CD of the Doo Wop Boys. I love it and I will play it on my show tonight."

DooWop Cafe
"...I will most definitely give it some spins."
